H2i has successfully completed their mission to Malaysia.

Together with Royal HoskoningDHV, we reviewed integrated water resources management plans and hydrological & hydrodynamic models. With the growing attention for climate change, we shared state-of-the-art developments in the water resources management sector with the client. To mitigate the effects of the ever uncertain scenarios of climate change, the central aspects of the review were sustainability, adaptation, and flexibility. As such, water sensitive design frameworks were proposed, in which we transition from a traditional approach – exclusively large-scale centralised infrastructure where priority is given to controlling environmental variation through technocratic engineering—to solving these challenges in an integrated regime in which focus is laid upon integrated, distributed and flexible infrastructure where priority is given to maintaining resilience through adaptability and reflexivity.
